Instead of being placed on a thumb plate or a base plate, this compass is placed on a strap. It is intended to be worn on your wrist, but can be attached to other objects also. Intended applications are in MTBO and adventure racing where the compass could be placed on your wrist, pack, bike frame, handle bars or kayak.
The needle and capsule is that of the mid-range Moscompass Model 3, delivering good levels of needle stability and settling time for a modest price.
The rotatable capsule has degree markings.
Strap colours may vary from that pictured and it's a lucky dip as to what colour you get. If you want a specific colour strap you can enquire and we'll see what we have.
