Reading detailed maps with clarity while running is an age old problem in orienteering. Fogging from perspiration or rain has typically driven glasses to be slimmer, sacrificing robust construction and a secure fit.
Vavrys has reimagined glasses for orienteering, by taking surdy-fitting sports glasses and laser cutting out the center of the lens so long range sight will never be compromised and ventalation is provided to the inside surface. This strategy also retains the glasses' protection from glancing branches. Bifocal magnification lenses are added to the lower portion of each lense for map reading clarity.
Consider adding a lace to allow the glasses to be worn around the neck when preferable: grassyknoll.co.nz/lace-for-o-glasses
